Busted Arm

On Christmas Eve, Stephen and Samuel were riding Tonka Trucks down our hill right behind our house. Stephen thought that Samuel's big black pick-up truck would be great to go down on. Stephen tied a rope to the big pick-up truck and went down in the Tonka Truck. Stephen was a lot heavier than Samuel so he went a lot faster. He went past the big truck which pulled him back very fast because of how slow it was going. He fell on the ground and Samuel rolled over his arm! His biggest Christmas present was going to the ER to get X-rays. Fortunately, his arm was not broken, just sprained. Now we are a lot more careful going down our hill!

Christmas 2008

On Christmas Day, 2008, everyone tried to wake up as early as they could. The Children were the first ones of course! We got downstairs and everyone opened their stockings! The Children were laughing and Shouting out what they got. Then we opened one present and then we had cinnamin rolls. Then we opened the rest of the presents. After that, Steve, Grace, and Stephen went to the ER to get X-rays on his arm. When they got home, everyone went to the Brown's house to drop off some gifts for them. Then we had a Christmas dinner with turkey and mashed potatoes. It was really fun!

Van

Every year, a couple days after Christmas, we go to see our friends in Indiana. On Wednesday, December 31st, Daddy was driving in the 15-passenger van to go to a meeting with Mr. Williams and Mr. Mozingo (2 of the elders of the church there). The van was low on fuel so He pulled into the gas station to feul up. He pulled out and was just going to get on the highway when the car stopped running. He tried to start it up but it would not start. Suddenly, he saw a flame under the hood. He went into the gas station to see if anyone had a fire extinguisher. He walked in and heard someone say "Hey, Someone's car is one fire!". Dad turned and saw the car was on fire! He called Mr. Daming and told him to come and to bring a fire extinguisher. They got there but it was to much for only on fire extinguisher so they called 911. When they got there, it was too late, the van was swallowed up with flames. We do not have a van any more. Please pray for us as we look for a new car!
