Funny face Shea

We were at our Grandma's house in Virginia for Shea's birthday party. We gave Grace a camera because she had been asking for one for a long time. Then we visited our Aunt. In this picture, Grace told Shea to smile, but Shea said "No!" so Grace asked Shea to smile again and Shea said "okay" but this is the face she made.

Kitty O'Shea

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird...it's a plane...it's Kitty O'Shea! Boomerang pacifier, lasso lankey (her special blanket), red ruby suction cup shoes and a Barney button flying diaper, these are the powers of the much loved Breagy family hero, Kitty O'Shea. She does not use her boomerang pacifier or Barney button flying diaper anymore, much to our disappointment. In this picture Kitty O'Shea is having some flying lessons. She loves to save her family members from things like Grace getting stuck in a tree or Stephen getting lost to things like saving Mama and Papa from a bear. Sometimes people like to steal her special powers and she has to rescue them, like the time when someone stole her boomerang pacifier and she had to rescue it from on a cloud. She has replaced her flying diaper with a cape which she loves, but she is upset that it has a S insted of K (for Kitty O'Shea).

Swinging in the barn

On Sundays, we gather at the Brown Farm and fellowship in their house which just happens to be a barn. They have an incredible swing hanging from the rafters that, if pushed high enough, you can swing over their dining room table. The children love to swing on it. This Sunday, Claire enjoyed being pushed.

The Man of my Dreams

This is the man of my dreams, my joy, my best friend, the blessing of my life. Fifteen years have passed quickly with him and they have been such years of joy and bliss!

Who is the biggest?

Claire adores her brother Samuel. She is constantly loving him and when he lays on the ground she appears to be wrestling with him but in reality she is hugging and kissing him. Claire will surprise us and pick Samuel up and you have to wonder, who is bigger? When she is holding him, his feet reach to her knees. It is amazing how strong she is! She certainly is Claire the Bear!!!! How blessed is Samuel to have a sister like Claire

Sweet Dreams

Grace knows how to put her brother Samuel to sleep. All it requires is a loving lap and a nice rocking chair (which was purchased for Kristina before Grace was born). This is a skill that Grace desperately needs to teach her Papa, who has a difficult time putting him to sleep.

Brotherly Love

Hebrews 13:1 says to let brotherly love continue. Stephen truly loves his sisters. He is always willing to help them no matter what the request. In fact, the other day Stephen painted both Claire and Shea's fingernails and toenails. Don't worry, he did not paint his own.
