Philip, Lover of Horses

On Friday, November 7, we went to visit our friends, the Coles, who live in Virginia.  They have a 20 acre horse farm.  They have horses, goats, and ponies.  When we got there, the parents talked for a little while and then we went to ride the ponies and horses.  Mom took Philip and put him on the pony.  Since Philip means "lover of horses", we thought he should start liking them early!  Here are a few pictures of Philip with 2 of their horses.  We had a fantastic time and loved the ponies.  Everyone agrees!

Father-Son Retreat

In October, our church had a Father-Son Retreat at the Brown's Farm.  The weather was humid and hot during the day and rainy at night.  Steve and Stephen did not sleep out the storm, they returned home to sleep in dry comfy beds.
