Singing in the Rain!

Finally, RAIN! Our summer long drought was brought to an end by 6+" of rain. The children were so excited and wanted to dance in the rain. The umbrellas were used but only to spin above their heads. They all came in drenched and happy. All of them went out again several times during the past rainy days.

A lost art

Grace hs become interested in a dying art-spinning. We have some good friends who know how to spin and are quite willing to pass down this art form. Grace loves it and it looks so peaceful. We are glad God had given Grace a desire to create a home filled with handmade items and He has provided the teachers to help her along. Thank you Meghan and Jonathan!

Our Chicks Have arrived!

We ordered chicks with our good friends, the Damings. They will grow them for us and then we will lend our expertise in processing them. Samuel loves animals. He loved the chicks but when he held one he was a bit concerned and gave it quickly back. He loved trying to catch them. What a cutie!
